How to Add Lights to Your Bathroom
Bathroom lighting is one of the places where people neglect their lighting the most. Many people think that a single light or a vanity light will do the trick. What is really important is that you layer your lighting. Vertical fixtures or sconces mounted on either side of your mirror are the best to cast an even light across the face. These fixtures will also add ambiance to create a tranquil feel in your bathroom.
We recommend using one over the shower with a 2-in-1 light and vent fan comb. When choosing a light vent fan combo it’s important to find one with a low number of sones, something under 2.0 is going to be quiet, you do not want it sounding like an airplane taking off in your shower!
Finally, in a master bathroom or larger bathroom, you will want some additional LED recessed lights as well, dimmers are a great option so you have complete control over your room and the mood you are trying to create.
